Greenpoint rugby fields on Vlei Road will be the location for this year's finish venue. There will be plenty of space, great entertainment from KFM and a kiddies play area so fun for the whole family.
The half marathon, 10km and 5km fun run will all finish on Greenpoint rugby fields (Vlei Road). To avoid congestion, 21.1km and 10km runners will be ushered through two different finish chutes. In keeping with tradition, the 15lb battlefield gun supplied by the Cape Field Artillery will signal the end of the race when it is fired at 10am
Enjoy an event-packed morning that will include the KFM music stage, the traditional firing of the battlefield gun, prize giving and a lucky draw where two participants will win R10,000 and another lucky runner will win a 40 inch LCD Samsung TV. Food and drink vendors will keep you nourished so come on down and enjoy the festivities with your hosts Atlantic Athletic Club, OUTsurance and KFM.
The KFM stage will provide a mix of DJ’s and music to ensure an unforgettable race vibe. Come and see your favourite DJ’s take to the stage and play a mix of current hits and old favourites for everyone to enjoy throughout the whole morning.
